In late 2019 Newcom media, a trade magazine publisher, purchased Truck News and wanted to merge it with its own 'Today's Trucking'. They approached me to design the site and help them plan the content deployment for the new amalgamation.
I worked with their team to design a system the publisher could re-deploy to any of its magazines. The idea was to have the means to apply the base typographic and visual treatment that existed in their print products to the theme and use a series of modular layouts to meet the publishing needs of each individual product. We used Truck news as the base to do this.
