Global News had recently successfully redesigned it as one of the first responsive websites in Canada. They had also established a solid technological foundation for their site and had collected meaningful data on that site's performance for some time.

I joined them to analyze the data and make several iterative changes to its overall user experience and visual design. We also designed new executions for the site including improved navigation, sections/pillars, weather, faceted search and local instances for regional stations.
