The Food Institute

Guelph University’s Food Institute was applying to win funding from a federal government program called the Canada First Research Excellence Fund. They came to us to raise awareness about their work and help form a media home for the food institute.

The homepage had modular sections — Featured experts, top stories etc. That could be mixed and matched to meet editorial needs.

In eight weeks, we designed, developed and executed a solution that resulted in them winning a $76.6 million grant from CFREC to pursue a six year project called Food From Thought — the largest single grant in the university’s history.

Homepage continued with features and external links to help establish thought leadership at the institute.
